Patricia “Pat” A. Sunnarborg, 72 years old, entered into rest surrounded by family on July 21, 2012 after a long battle with cancer. She was born April 1, 1940 to Sig and Lena Carlson. Pat grew up in Cloquet and was a 1958 graduate of Cloquet High School. She married Jerry Sunnarborg on May 7, 1960.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Sig and Lena Carlson; infant daughter, Lori Ann, and a brother, Gordon Carlson.

Pat’s generosity, warmth and laughter will be deeply missed. She is survived by her husband of 52 years, Jerry; daughters, Shelley (Jeff) Mrsola of Carlton and Lisa (Kenn) Lambert of Stacy; granddaughter, Ashley Lambert of Stacy; grandson, John (Colleen) Forrest of Esko; three lovely great grandchildren, Rilea, Gavin and Haylie; brother, Tom (Gail) Carlson of Embarrass and several nieces and nephews.

Memorial Services were held on Wednesday, July 25, 2012 in Atkins-Northland Funeral Home, 801 14th Street, Cloquet. A luncheon followed in the Fireside Room of the funeral home. Memorials may be made to American Cancer Society.
